One of five pioneering wineries who first planted grapes in teh central Otago region in the early 1970’s, Shaky Bridge wines are carefully crafted by the grant family from some of the oldest vines in central Otago.
The historic ‘Shaky Bridge’ reflects the pioneering spirit that has influenced us as original growers and makers of wine since 1973 in Central Otago, New Zealand. Built in the late 1870s, the Shaky Bridge spans the Manuherikia River and provides an iconic memory of Central Otago’s gold mining heritage. The Grant family have been pioneering wine producers of Central Otago since 1973.
